Diana Demont in the cast and the synopsis
Two things tie this series to Diana Demont: her twin is the cast credit on Candy AI, and the synopsis names the sergeant Sgt. Diana Demont. Among the series credited to her twin, this is by far the longest, at 35 episodes, while titles such as Yes, Director and 18 Holes With My Wife’s Sister stop at five.
The premise: a recruit she claims
You are cast as the lowest-ranked recruit on the base. The sergeant pulls you out of the mud and lets everyone know you belong to her. She is the untouchable commanding officer, married to the Colonel who owns everything on the base. The hook is that only you get to see the woman behind the rank.
Episode 1 on the obstacle course
The first episode, just over a minute long, is set on an obstacle course in the pouring rain. The opening shot is the sergeant kneeling in the mud wearing fatigues and an olive tank top, head tipped back while rainwater runs down her face.
Around 0:25 she stands face to face with a recruit covered in mud, while the rest of the platoon waits in rows behind them. Shortly after, an older officer in a dark dress coat and white cap walks beside her, and the camera picks out the DEMONT name tape. Nobody changes out of uniform, and the boldest look is the open collar of her soaked camouflage jacket.
