The premise: a locked door
Harriet is awkward on the ward and doesn’t expect anyone senior to pay attention to her. Then the head of surgery locks the two of them in the on-call room and gives her some very practical training. The problem is the head nurse, who is jealous, wants any excuse to have Harriet fired, and is standing just outside. Harriet is the only character the synopsis names; the chief and the head nurse go without names.
Episode 1 on the ward
Episode 1 runs one minute. From the first shot Harriet walks down a bright hospital corridor in blue scrubs that zip at the front, pulled low enough to show a strip of white lace; nothing more revealing follows.
Around 0:15 a nurse with dark hair is perched on a desk with a clipboard, her white uniform cut short above white stockings, while Harriet is down on the floor collecting the folders she dropped. Later the scene moves to a small room with the chief in a white coat, and near 0:40 that same nurse watches from the doorway, unhappy with what she finds. After that the nurse is back at her desk while the two talk closely. In the final shots he reaches for the zip on the blue scrubs, and the last image is a startled face in close-up. Nobody undresses.
