Margot Vey’s credit
Neither the title nor the synopsis points to Margot Vey, yet Candy AI’s cast list for Her Stepmom Is the Boss includes her digital twin. Her twin is credited in more open series than any other performer on this site, all collected on her star page.
A job with strings attached
The girlfriend calls in a favour to get him hired. His manager turns out to be her stepmom, glamorous and in charge of the whole floor, and she has her own ideas about him. He owes the job to one woman and answers to the other. The series mixes the office with family: his job depends on the woman he should be keeping at a distance, and the person who got him hired is her stepdaughter.
Day one at the office
Episode 1 runs about 1:05. It opens with the boss crossing an open-plan office straight toward the camera, around 0:08: blonde, glasses, a crisp blouse and a fitted black skirt. The key scene is in the meeting room, where he sits uneasily among colleagues in a light blue shirt. From about 0:24 she sits on the conference table with her legs crossed and leans toward the camera with a knowing smile. A short cut at about 0:40 shows his girlfriend, in a lilac wrap top, walking down a city street with her eyes on her phone. Back in the meeting room, around 0:50, the boss perches on the table beside his chair, then gets up and leans in to talk to him.
Nobody undresses; a deep neckline is as far as it goes. What carries the episode is how near she keeps coming to him.
