Who Candy AI lists
Faye Corin is the single name Candy AI gives for this series. She is not among the performers whose digital twins we cover, so if you were looking for a particular star, the stars page shows which series go with each of them. This one stands out for its setting rather than for a famous name: it is the only castle story among the series we cover.
A king, a queen and a servant
The king is stuck in a marriage made for politics, with no warmth left between husband and wife. Each morning a servant from the kitchens is sent up to dress him, and he falls for her. Nothing in the castle stays private, because the queen hears about everything that happens in it. And the maid isn’t content with his bed: she wants to stop being a secret. It is a costume drama about rank and ambition as much as desire.
Episode 1 in the castle
The first episode is short, just under a minute. It opens in a castle hall around 0:05, with a hand on the king’s knee and the maid, in a grey gown laced at the front, leaning in and smiling at the camera. The episode then follows her morning task: around 0:20 she holds up a gold ring and slides it onto his finger, and by the window she settles a dark velvet cloak over his shoulders. It ends, from about 0:40, with the pair holding hands in candlelight, faces close, stopping just short of a kiss.
Both stay in full costume until the last shot.
