The name in the cast
Candy AI credits Lea Fontaine in the cast, and no one else. The title and synopsis talk about Ava and Leo, and the listing does not say which of them, if either, the credit belongs to. The same name appears on one other Candy Shorts series, the ranch story Family Reunion: My New Step-Cousin.
A wedding rehearsed with the wrong man
The wedding is coming, and Ava’s fiancé keeps missing everything that needs doing before it. Leo, her stepbrother, volunteers to stand in. He runs through the vows, practises the kiss, helps her into the dress, and the synopsis ends its list with the wedding night. All of it is supposed to be a rehearsal for another man, which is where the humour and the tension come from.
Episode 1 in the bridal dressing room
The first episode lasts 1:24 and stays in a bright fitting room full of gown racks. When it opens, Ava is in a white lace slip, hand on her waist, and someone appears at the door. The slip, sheer through the lace bodice, is what she wears nearly all the way through and the most the episode shows.
Leo, in a green linen shirt over a white T-shirt, spends the middle of the episode clowning: around 0:39 he reads a letter aloud with a hand on his chest, leaning back for effect. By 0:58 he has a hand at her waist, and in the closing close-ups she looks up at him and talks while he stays turned toward her, close enough that it no longer feels like practice. No one undresses.
